Samsung Galaxy A12 inches closer to the official launch, bags Bluetooth certification
Samsung will soon launch Galaxy A12 budget smartphone. Here are expected specifications and features of the phone.
Samsung's upcoming Galaxy A12 is inching closer to an official launch. As of now, there is no word on the launch date, but the phone has bagged Bluetooth certification. The latest listing does not reveal any specifications, though.
According to GSMArena, the Galaxy A12 is listed with model number SM-A125F_DSN. A listing Geekbench, however, had revealed the smartphone offers MediaTek Helio P35 processor. On the software front, it will offer Android 10 out-of-the-box. The phone is said to come with 3GB of RAM. The website says the phone could be available in more RAM versions.
If reports are to be believed, Samsung Galaxy A12 will be available in 64GB and 32GB built-in storage versions. Other rumoured features of the phone are TFT display and side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Samsung Galaxy A12 is said to succeed the Galaxy A11. Launched in March this year, Samsung Galaxy A11 sports a 6.04-inch HD display. It runs on a 1.8GHz octa-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage. The phone features three rear cameras including 13-megapixel, 2-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors. It is powered by a 4,000mAh battery.
Separately, Samsung is working on a Galaxy M12 with a unique dual-tone textured finish on the back. The Galaxy A42 5G lookalike is said to come with Exynos 9611 octa-core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. The camera setup on the back is said to be a combination of 48-megapixel, 8-megapixel, and 5-megapixel sensors on the back. For selfies, it could offer a 16-megapixel front-facing sensor.
Samsung Galaxy M12 and A12 are likely to launch very soon. We're likely to find out more about the two phones in the near future. Until then, stay tuned.
