Micromax Tablets

Micromax, based in Gurgaon, is an Indian consumer electronics company formed in 2000 by Rahul Sharma... and Rajesh Agarwal. The company was founded as a software development firm in the field of information technology. Later on, it expanded into consumer goods such as cell phones, tablets, televisions, washing machines, and air conditioners, among other things. YU Televentures, a wholly owned subsidiary of the corporation, offers mobile phones under the YU brand.

Micromax began selling mobile phones in 2008. It was one of the first manufacturers to offer feature-rich phones at a reasonable price. The majority of the company's phones were marketed as being created and constructed specifically for Indian consumers and their diverse needs. The Funbook, the company's first tablet device series, was released in 2010. The company became the country's mobile phone market leader in 2014. The Bharat 1, a 4G feature phone compatible with the Reliance Jio network, was one of the first introduced by the firm.

Other than smartphones the brand also offers products such as Tablets, Air conditioners, LED TVs, Laptops, Power banks, Sound bars, Refrigerators and Washing machines.Micromax entered the electric vehicle market in 2019 by launching the Revolt Intellicorp sub-brand, which will produce artificial intelligence (AI)-powered electric two-wheelers. The RV 400 electric bike was released under the Revolt brand.

In June 2021, Micromax introduced the In 2b, which included a Unisoc T610 SoC, a fingerprint sensor on the back, and a 5,000mAh battery. It was released as a follow-up to the Micromax In 1b.
