It was April 1 and pranks from tech companies were rolling out faster than the updates for their apps. While some companies tried taking this year's April Fools to the next level, it seemed that others were doing it to not feel left out. Here are some of the pranks that caught our attention.
Google Cardboard Plastic and YouTube SnoopaVision
The new feature on YouTube, SnoopaVision is mostly built by Snoop Dog or Lion, whatever you prefer. It lets you watch any video in 36-degree virtual reality format. The technology is so advanced, it can't be deployed before 2100s. Maybe because it makes you feel like you're right there.
To pair with the SnoopaVision, Google also introduced a new Cardboard virtual reality headset. But this one is made of transparent plastic. So, you can experience the real world reality. It doesn't sound that funny, but the video is.
Cornhub
Hungry? Visit Cornhub for some extra special corn being rolled, steamed and prepped for your visual delight. Pornhub replaced all their porn for videos of corn to prank the visitors of the site on Friday.
Ola Rooms
For the lonely and abandoned, Ola started shared a ray of home with videos of on-demand rooms, anywhere in the city. Even a button appeared on the app claiming to bring you a room to the GPS location you're at.
Droom
