It's the World Emoji Day today. On the day that is dedicated to emojis, we saw tech companies unveiling their next bunch of emojis. On one hand, Apple gave the world a preview of the emojis that will be available on iPhones and iPads later this year. On the other hand, Google did the same for Android 11.

Apart from this, we also got to know about Google losing control of its blogspot.in domain.

Facebook brings screen sharing to Messenger on Android and iOS

Facebook today announced that Messenger's screen sharing feature, which was earlier available only on the web, will now be available on Android and iOS. In addition to that the company today announced that Messenger Rooms on Android and iOS could now support up to 16 people at once.

Google shows off emojis coming to Android 11

Google today gave us a glimpse of all the emojis that will be available on Android 11 later this year. The list includes 62 new characters, 55 skin tones and gender representations.

Apple previews new emojis coming to iPhones and iPads

Like Google, Apple too showed off the new emojis that will be available on iPhones and iPads later this year. The list includes a total of 117 characters including characters with a cyclist helmet, a nurse cap, or a swim cap.

Xiaomi launches a new phone for kids

Xiaomi today launched a new phone for kids. However, unlike other smartphones or feature phones, the Xiaomi Qin AI Phone looks like a brick and comes with four directional controls and two other buttons.

Google loses control of ‘blogspot.in' domain

Google today lost control of the blogspot.in domain. The domain in question is now owned by an India-based hosting provider called domainming.com and is available for purchase for $5,999.
