The iPhone 15 lineup can feature a USB-C port instead of the lightning port and also move to solid state buttons for its volume rocker and power button.

The Smartphone is likely to come in two sizes of 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch like the iPhone 14 series. And this time, the dynamic island may feature in all the models.

Reports suggest that the iPhone 15 can sport a periscope zoom lens

Some tipsters also believe that Apple will make use of in-house modem chips for the iPhone 15. However, it is likely to stay with Qualcomm chipsets as it has since the beginning of 5G iPhones. Another leak that was going strong for quite some time, but is now dead was that Apple would develop its own chip.

Rumours suggest that iPhone 15 models will look like the iPhone 14 models, but the pill-and-hole cut-out will expand to the entire line-up. That means all iPhone 15 models would ditch the notch and adopt the Dynamic Island introduced in the iPhone 14 Pro models.

According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple might replace the "Pro Max" version of the iPhone 15 with a new "Ultra" model. Apple in 2022 introduced the Apple Watch Ultra, and it has also used "Ultra" naming for the highest-end version of the M1.

It is too early to speculate about prices, but a price hike is unlikely. Having said that, there is also a possibility that it may be hiked simply because Apple is looking to put so much more into the phone in terms of hardware and that means its manufacturing cost will rise.

In fact, Apple could be bringing a host of upgrades to its iPhone 15 lineup which would make even the non-Pro models exciting.
