Mivi Collar 2 launched in India for ₹1,199

The Collar 2 can be paired with two devices at the same time and can control both devices simultaneously.

Mivi on Wednesday launched a new wireless over-the-neck earphone in India. Called Collar 2, the earphone is available through mivi.in, Flipkart, and Amazon at an introductory price of ₹1,199. The official price of the device is ₹1,399.

Mivi's Collar 2 is available in six colour options including green, orange, red and black. The device comes with three pairs of interchangeable earbuds. There is also a magnetic buds lock.

The Collar 2 comes with MEMS mic for improved voice experience. It supports Bluetooth 5.0. It also has an in-line 3-button remote to control music and calls. It supports the ability to play, pause, accept and reject calls. The built-in microphone also activates voice assistants such as Google Assistant or Siri at the touch of a button. Users can pair the earphone with two devices at the same time.

Another highlight of the Collar 2 is battery backup. The company says the “Super Charging” feature gives 10 hours of playtime in just 10 minutes of charge. The device can get fully charged in 40 minutes to offer up to 17 hours of playtime.

Mivi says its new Collar 2 is 100% Made in India.

“Our first made in India product Roam2 which was launched last month was a runaway success and became the best selling Bluetooth speaker. Its success has inspired us to develop more products that are made in India. Collar2 Earphones is a product completely designed, developed and manufactured in our Hyderabad unit. We are determined to continue the momentum and keep bringing the premium quality products at an affordable price point,” Co-founder of Mivi, Midhula Devabhaktuni said in a release.
