Call of Duty Mobile could see Blackout battle royale map from Black Ops 4, claims report

Call of Duty Mobile (CoD Mobile) is all set for a new season, and those who play the popular game’s battle royale mode may be in for a treat when season 8 arrives, according to a new report, which claims that the Blackout battle royale map from Call of Duty Black Ops 4 could be making its way to the popular CoD Mobile game in the future.

According to a report by Dot Esports, a recent teaser posted by developer Activision hinted at the possibility of a new addition, as the name of the video was reportedly titled “Blackout Teaser Video one”. However, the Facebook page for Call of Duty Mobile responded to a user’s comment asking about the addition of the map, stating “We know nothing of this” according to the report. However, as 

The report does note that Call of Duty Mobile would need to see a version of the massive map optimised for mobile devices if it were to arrive on mobile devices. On the Call of Duty Black Ops 4 game, up to a hundred players can drop onto an island and compete with each other to survive and take out other players, while the last player alive wins the game. Battle royale games are very popular across platforms, and several games on smartphones such as Garena Free Fire, PUBG Mobile, Battlegrounds Mobile India and others are some of the most popular games for mobile users today.

If Activision does add the Blackout map to CoD Mobile, it could join Isolated as the other complete mad in the game, according to the report. However, we do not yet know what the next season is likely to be called, and whether Activision will actually add the map to the game, unless the company officially reveals it on its website or social channels.
