Fortnite Bhangra Boogie Cup to start on Dec 6, here's all you need to know

Fortnite today announced its Bhangra Boogie Cup for Android smartphones. Fortnite has partnered with OnePlus for this tournament which also features the Bhangra Boogie emote, Nana Dance Spray and a new track by Raftaar.

The Fortnite Bhangra Boogie Cup is open to only Android players. The tournament will take place region wise with points and prizes to be won. Players with five points will get the Nana Dance Spray, while the top 25K finishers will get the Bhangra Boogie Emote, and also the Click Pow Get Down Lobby Track featuring Raftaar. These items will be available in the Item Shop later.

As for the top three-point earners of each region, they’ll get to win the OnePlus 8T smartphone. OnePlus Buds will also be up for grabs for the top point earner of each region.

The scoring system for the Fortnite tournament will work this wa -

Victory Royale: 10 Points (+3)

2nd - 5th: 7 Points (+2)

6th - 15th: 5 Points (+2)

16th - 25th: 3 Points (+3)

26th - 100th: 1 Point (+1)

Each Elimination: 1 Point

For the regional prize distribution, Fortnite will select the top 10,000 from Europe, top 7,000 from North America East, top 2,500 from North America West and Latin America. For regions in Asia, Middle East and Oceania, the top 1,000 players are eligible for prizes.

Fortnite players using Android phones can take part in the tournament by opening the ‘compete tab in-game’, and selecting the Bhangra Boogie Cup. players are also required to enable two-factor authentication on their Epic account.
