Fortnite Cosmic Summer event: After an epic day of battles as part of the Thanos Cup that just concluded on Epic Games’ popular Fortnite game, where several gamers participated in the event to win Thanos’ special skin by gaining the most points, Fortnite players must prepare for an even greater event. Coming later today is a new ‘festival’ that will launch a new Cosmic Summer event that will continue for two weeks. The celebration will kick off in a few hours.

We reported on Monday that Epic had invited users to come and attend the ‘Cosmic Summer Celebration’ by RSVP-ing to its tweet, which racked up over 28,000 replies at the time of publishing this story. This isn’t the first major event to be held inside the game – Fortnite is popular for its in-game events, celebrations, and even concerts. The new Cosmic Summer will start later today.
