Fortnite Cosmic Summer event: After an epic day of battles as part of the Thanos Cup that just concluded on Epic Games’ popular Fortnite game, where several gamers participated in the event to win Thanos’ special skin by gaining the most points, Fortnite players must prepare for an even greater event. Coming later today is a new ‘festival’ that will launch a new Cosmic Summer event that will continue for two weeks. The celebration will kick off in a few hours.
We reported on Monday that Epic had invited users to come and attend the ‘Cosmic Summer Celebration’ by RSVP-ing to its tweet, which racked up over 28,000 replies at the time of publishing this story. This isn’t the first major event to be held inside the game – Fortnite is popular for its in-game events, celebrations, and even concerts. The new Cosmic Summer will start later today.
How to attend Fortnite Cosmic Summer event
Attending the Fortnite Cosmic Summer event is quite easy. According to Fortnite, gamers will have to assemble at Believer Beach in time for the event to start later today – at 6:30 PM . However, the timing of the game might clash with lectures, work, or other commitments during the day, so the company has decided to extend the event for two weeks from today.
What to expect at Fortnite Cosmic Summer event
Unfortunately, while Fortnite has teased the arrival of special rewards and new quests in the game, the publisher has not revealed any actual details about the game. It is likely that the map will receive some changes, while new hidden items could be located around the island. Gamers in India who have the game downloaded can tune in at the designated time and travel to Believer Beach where the new quests and rewards arriving as part of the upcoming two-week Cosmic Summer Celebration event are likely to be revealed.
Who can participate in Fortnite Cosmic Summer event
As long as you have a compatible device that can play Fortnite, you should be able to travel to Believer Beach in order to take part in the event. This means that gamers on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, PC/Mac and Android should be able to participate in the game, as part of the cross-platform event. However, gamers on iOS will still be unable to play since Apple booted the game from the store for not complying with its in-app purchases rule.
