Fortnite Spy Probes quest: How to place spy probes in the weekly quest on map; coming event - Ariana Grande concert

Popular battle royale game Fortnite is currently on its seventh season (of chapter two) and gamers are currently participating in the last of the quests in this season. After six weeks of quests, gamers have now been tasked with planting alien probes in the game, which can prove to be a tricky task if you do not know where to plant these devices. However, completing the quest will allow gamers to gain extra XP, which is definitely a plus.

If you have been participating in the legendary quest events on Fortnite for the past few weeks, the latest ‘Place Spy Probes’ quest should come as no surprise. The task involves placing three Spy Probes in varying locations across the map. There are specific locations that must be identified accurately for the probes to be planted and to complete the quest successfully.

Some of the ideal locations on Fortnite game that you can plant these Spy Probes on are hilly locations or other elevated areas on the map in the Southwest, as Forbes points out. There are at least eight locations your can plant your Spy Probes in but you only have to plant 3 probes. Once you identify an ideal location, you can simply plant the device there and leave, so make sure the challenge is live when you’re ready to complete the quest. You can gain up to 30,000 XP from this quest, which is an absolutely great achievement.

In order to get started and enable the Fortnite challenge, you’ll need to find and use a payphone to accept the quest. After you place all the spy probes, you should be done with this week’s probes and ready for next week’s quest. Meanwhile, don’t forget to check back over the weekend to see the special Ariana Grande concert that could also feature the massive alien mothership hovering over the centre of the map.

The special Rift Tour will feature a five-show concert that will begin on August 6 at 6PM ET, which means gamers in India will have to tune in around 3:30 AM in the morning. The concert will carry on through August 8, though, which means that gamers can catch other performances as well. However, gamers should tune in to the event an hour before the event begins so they are not left out once the event slots for the Rift Tour playlist fill up.
