Garena Free Fire: Gain massive advantage, claim a free, permanent gun skin; here is how to do it

Garena Free Fire is one of the most popular games in India and the game has made it to the top of the Google Play Store’s top-grossing games list in the country. For monetisation, the free-to-play mobile game offers a variety of items in-game such as outfits, weapons and gun skins that can be purchased by buying loot crates that gamers can pick in exchange for in-game currency and diamonds. However, just like every free-to-play game, gamers don’t actually have to spend money inside the game to purchase items to make further progress, as these special items can usually be acquired through special events.

Gun skins are an important part of Garena Free Fire, because they give weapons effectiveness a boost, meaning users can gain an edge over their opponents in the game. The game is now allowing users to gain access to an exclusive skin in the game as part of a special event and players can participate right away. The skin is permanent, so players will have access to it even after the event ends.

Here’s how to gain access to the permanent Garena Free Fire gun skin:

Existing Garena Free Fire players will probably be aware that Jai, one of the characters in the game, is going away from the store. The game developers have now added a farewell event to mark the character’s exit. This means players will be able to unlock the gun skin for free in the game by participating in the Jai’s Party event in the game that began on July 24.

Gamers who want to take part in the Garena Free Fire “Jai’s Party” event will get to choose one out of four gun skins. They will play five games that will grant them a Golden Crosshair that allows them to redeem the AK47 - Justice Fighter, AWM - Justice Fighter, M60 - Justice Fighter, and UMP - Justice Fighter gun skins in the game.

The event began on July 24, and at the moment it is unclear until when gamers will have to claim the above gun skins on Garena Free Fire. Here are the steps to follow to claim the skins:

Step 1) Click on the calendar icon in the game.

Step 2) Play five Matches with the Jai character and then claim the Golden Crosshair token.

Step 3) Now use the Exchange function to claim your desired gun skin, which will be added to your inventory and can be equipped on your weapon.
