Leaked! PUBG 2 to launch by the end of 2022? Know the latest update here

After PUBG Battlegrounds and PUBG New State, Krafton, the developer of these games is all set to excite gamers all over the globe further with its new game, PUBG 2. When will that be? Well, PUBG 2 launch date may well have been leaked. It says that PUBG 2 launch date is near the end of next year, that is 2022. The information was provided by PlayerIGN on his Twitter handle. "PUBG confirms PUBGMobile2 release for this year and a PUBG PC & Console game release in 2022. Based on previous sources, the PC & Console game is likely to be named: PUBG2. PUBG 2 mobile game is a sequel made in house by PUBG Lite's head," he tweeted.

However, gamers can note that there is no official information regarding the launch date and about the features of the game yet. PUBG, which was released in the year 2017, and the recently launched PUBG New State are amongst the most popular games worldwide. These games have also undergone several updates in recent times to bring more security to the players. Seeing the popularity and success of these two games it can be said that players are eagerly waiting for PUBG 2 and it can be a great hit too.

PUBG, provides battle royale gaming experience to its users and is also credited for popularising this segment. According to reports, PUBG 2 can be seen as a sequel to PUBG. As per the documents shared by PlayerIGN, Krafton Amsterdam is hiring a technical art director and technical animator to work on a “new unannounced project" based on Epic Games' Unreal Engine 5. He also informed that Krafton had discussed upgrading PUBG to Unreal Engine 5 in an internal meeting.

It can be noted that in India, Krafton has taken over the reigns of PUBG Mobile from Tencent after government backlash in the country against the Chinese tech giant.
