Microsoft announces 2021’s first Xbox Game Pass; Here’s the list

Microsoft has announced something new for its Xbox gamers. The company has revealed the new game titles that will be coming to its Xbox Game Pass in the first half of 2021. There are a total of seven titles, which will be made available on console, Android devices and PCs. While some are from sports genre, others are from arcade and adventure.

Starting January 7th, gamers will get titles like eFootball PES 2021 Season Update on Android and Xbox, Injustice 2 on Android, Xbox and PC, and The Little Acre in Android and Xbox only. However, from January 14, they will get Neoverse on PC, Torchlight III on Android and Xbox console, What Remains of Edith Finch for PC Gamers and YIIK: A Postmodern RPG for PC gamers.

It’s worth adding that Microsoft has already confirmed the arrival of The Yakuza Remastered Collection, which includes the Yakuza 3, 4, and 5 to Xbox Game Pass. It will be coming on January 28th.

However, some older games are leaving as well. This includes FTL: Faster Than Light, My Friend Pedro, Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet, and Tekken 7. In addition, the firm has a deal going on wherein customers can buy Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for $1 per month for 3 months. This offer is said to stand until January 25th. Post three months, the service will charge users $14.99 monthly.

Meanwhile, Microsoft has sought AMD's assistance to meet the demand for the new Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles. During an appearance on a video podcast, Xbox chief Phil Spencer said that the company was working hard to tackle the stock shortages.

"I get some people [asking], ‘why didn’t you build more? Why didn’t you start earlier? Why didn’t you ship them earlier?’ All of those things,” Spencer said in the podcast.
