The much-coveted Sony PlayStation 5 is going to be back in stock in India one more time on August 26 and you can preorder it starting 12 noon. The Sony online store has updated the PS5 console page with a pre-order date already and along with the company store, the console should also be available for pre-orders on other online platforms that’s sold the device before.
The listings for the PS5 are live on those platforms as well but none of them have furnished a date yet. Going by this, expect other platforms to follow suit.
After launching in November last year, the PlayStation 5 arrived in India for the first time in February this year. There have been a few sales since and every time the console was sold out almost immediately. The PS5 last went on pre-order in India on July 26 and now a month later, it is going to be available again.
Other websites like Flipkart, Amazon, Games The Shop, Prepaid Gamer Card, Croma, and Game Loot also have the console listed but not pre-order date has been mentioned yet. We’d suggest some vigilance if you want to buy a console this time around, it is highly likely that the dates are all going to be the same - August 26, 12 PM.
Both Shopatsc.com and Vijay Sales have said that the Digital Edition and the standard edition will be available for sale on August 26. The standard edition of the PS5 costs ₹49,990 and the Digital Edition costs ₹39,990. Both these editions ship with the DualSense controller in the box.
