PUBG Mobile India's first teaser video shows players instead of gameplay, features

PUBG Corp and Krafton this week announced PUBG Mobile India, the game that will be arriving soon. Although details were not mentioned, today, the official PUBG Mobile India channel has dropped its first teaser video. However, unlike what you think, it shows something else. The video doesn’t show the gameplay or any of the features but instead shows three popular PUBG Mobile players in a more comical tone. 

The short YouTube videos shows clips in which PUBG Mobile players like Dynamo, Kronten and Jonathan are seen, thinking about the title and probably missing it while performing other homely tasks. Every clip in the video, shows text in the end stating ‘Missing the excitement?’, ‘Missing the Pan?’ and ‘Missing the Thrill?’. And in the final clip you see all three staring at the fan, missing playing PUBG Mobile. The text in the end shows ‘Missing the Chicken Dinner?’.

Although the video doesn’t show the release date of the new app or anything at all about what to expect, the firm has previously confirmed that the in-game content will be improved and tailored to reflect local needs while various aspects of the game will be customized for Indian gamers. This includes the game now being set in a virtual simulation training ground, new characters automatically starting clothed, and green hit effects to reflect the virtual nature of the game. 

Also, the company will include a feature that places restrictions on game time to promote healthy gameplay habits for younger players. Both PUBG Corporation and Krafton are investing $100 million USD in India as well to help boost the local video game, esports, entertainment, and IT industries.
