PUBG New State to get special music, web series in India

PUBG New State is barely a month old and already there is a lot of content coming our way. No, not in the game, but Krafton is expanding PUBG New State's appeal outside the game world with music and a web series. Krafton, in fact, wants to give PUBG New State its own music that will be used for the game's promotional campaigns across the country.

For the music, Krafton has collaborated with pop singer Badshah and playback singer Nikita Gandhi, called “Bad Boy x Bad Girl”. Krafton has also collaborated with rapper Raftaar to work on another song, which together with Badshah song will serve as the game's anthem going forward.

PUBG New State literally goes into a new state

Along with the two songs, Krafton has also come up with another dance challenge as well as a web series. The dance challenge will see winners gettings Google Play Store Gift Cards worth up to $5,000 (approximately ₹3,74,500). Those interested in participating will need to upload their dance videos using the PUBG: New State filter on Instagram and use #NewStateStyle and #PUBGNewState.

As for the web series, Krafton will be calling it New State Chronicles. The series will be a three-part series that will feature celebrities and influencers including Awez Darbar, Kaneez Surka, Kubbra, Mortal, Mr. Faizu, Raftaar, Rannvijay Singha, Rohan, Scout, The Great Khali, and The Sound Blaze. The series is expected to release in December.

PUBG New State is currently available on both Android and iOS app stores as a free to download and play title. The game launched in early November and brings an enhanced gameplay experience from the previous-gen BGMI. Players to get to experience new graphics, improved gameplay mechanisms, and more.

Along with PUBG New State, Krafton continues to service and release new features for Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). BGMI is essentially a rebadged version of PUBG Mobile that got banned in India in 2020 as part of the massive Chinese app ban implemented by the Indian government.
