Sony has so far revealed the specs for its next-gen console, and showed off its controller as well. Sony has now announced an event on June 5 where it will display new games coming to PS5.
Sony will livestream its PS5 event which will run for around an hour on June 5 via YouTube and Twitch. The event is scheduled to start at 1:00 pm PDT which would be 1:30 am IST for people in India. Eager fans will get to see the first look of games arriving with the PS5. Sony is scheduled to launch the PS5 console this holiday.
“The games coming to PS5 represent the best in the industry from innovative studios that span the globe. Studios, both larger and smaller, those newer and those more established, all have been hard at work developing games that will showcase the potential of the hardware,” Jim Ryan, President & CEO, Sony Interactive Entertainment, said in a blog post.
Sony is yet to unveil the PS5 console, something which rival Microsoft has already done for the Xbox Series X. It has revealed the key specs for the console which include a custom eight-core AMD Zen 2 CPU clocked at 3.5GHz (variable frequency) paired with a custom AMD RDNA 2 architecture-based GPU.

The console will be also equipped with 10.28 teraflops and 36 compute units along with 16GB GDDR6 RAM and a custom 825GB SSD.
