Watch a brand new PlayStation 5 being put through the shredder

Sony has just announced the pre-booking and launch dates for the PlayStation 5 console in India, finally. While India has to wait till February 2 to get their hands on the new console, many people across the world are still trying to bag one for themselves and the consoles seem to be in terrible short supply and scalpers have been buying existing stock quickly.

While the rest of the world struggles to get one, one YouTuber who has managed to get a PS5 went ahead with an experiment where he put the brand new console into an industrial shredder.

The YouTube account that goes by the name Captain Crunch Experiments recently shocked and angered a lot of PlayStation fans across the world with a video that shows a PS5 being destroyed by an industrial shredder.

The description with the video titled “Shredding Playstation 5 Experiment : Fast Shredder vs Sony PS5” states -

"In this video I'm shredding and destroying the all new Sony Playstation 5 , the ps5 controller , the power cables , books and also shredding the boxes it comes in. So you can see what's inside a PlayStation 5.”

Posted on November 20, the video has garnered 463,673 views by now.

Of course, the video has pissed a lot of people off. One viewer commented - “Who can put a thumbs up indication after performing a satanic thing like this. People are fighting like cats and dogs for this and this guy be like "ok let's put it through a shredder.”

Given that the video has become so popular, Captain Crunch has posted that he is going to shred an Xbox X if the video gets a 100 likes. The video already has 8.9K likes so you know what’s coming next.
