Thomson entered the washing machine market in India by launching a range of semi-automatic washing machines in India at a starting price of ₹6,999. Now, the company has taken another stride in the direction of establishing itself as a key player in this segment by launching a range of fully-automatic washing machines in India.
Thomson has launched three new fully-automatic washing machine models in India. There is a 6.5Kg variant and a 7.5Kg variant. Both of these variants have top-loading capabilities and they are available at a price of ₹11,499 and ₹12,999 in India. There is a 10.5Kg variant that comes with the front-loading capability and is available for ₹22,999 in India. All of these models are available for purchase on Flipkart.
As far as the features are concerned, the two variants with top-loading capabilities come with a bunch of features such as six action pulsator wash, air dry function, tub clean program and multiple wash program. In addition to that, there is a child lock feature and an auto unbalance detection feature that reduces vibration for smooth and noise-free performance.

The top-end model with 10.5Kg capacity too comes with features such as tub clean program and child lock. In addition to that, there is a variable temperature and spin option that can increase the water temperature to 90-degree C.
“Next 3 years we will be investing in the washing machine category, our aim will be to continue more launches in the Premium Affordable product category, while we endeavour to achieve 15% market share in the online retail space. Market disruption in washing machines have become essential, as customers should get ``True Price”,” Avneet Singh Marwah, CEO, Super Plastronics Pvt Ltd, (SPPL) and India Brand Licensee said in a statement.
