LinkedIn on Wednesday released new findings of its Job Seeker research. The findings are based on 1,016 survey responses and reveal that more than 3 in 4 professionals will consider changing jobs or actively look for a new job opportunity in the next 12 months. The findings also give a preview of the career trends that may be big this year.
According to LinkedIn, the job market will continue to grow more competitive in 2021. More than one-third of job seekers in India have expressed concerns about too many recruitment stages (38%) and extensively long application documents (32%). The report further says that 3 in 4 professional said that had reservations about the networking.

Notwithstanding the uncertainty, the LinkedIn data says India has remained resilient towards career growth. “2 in 3 (64%) professionals say they are confident about their future progression while 2 in 5 think attending networking events (38%), and investing in online learning (37%) will be critical to landing a job in 2021,” added the report.
