Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan has had a great year in 2022. Despite turning 80, he came out with five full feature film appearances, the highest since 2013. Directed by famed director Sooraj Barjatya and produced jointly by Rajshri Productions, Boundless Media and Mahaveer Jain Films, Uunchai quickly gained popularity for its original concept and ensemble cast. The story centers around three aged friends who decide to take a trek to the Everest Base Camp, to fulfill their fourth friend’s dying wish. The story is both an adventure as well as an emotional journey where they test their physical limits to pay tribute to a lifelong friendship.

Apart from Bachchan, the movie stars seasoned veterans Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Danny Denzongpa, Neena Gupta, Sarika and Parineeti Chopra. The film has received positive reviews for its cast performances, direction, screenplay and cinematography.

The trailer of the film was posted by YRF YouTube channel and it has amassed more than 2.7 million views, 57,000 likes and over a thousand comments.

After a good theatrical run, the film finally released to Zee5 streaming platform today and is now available to stream. Generally, you would require a subscription to Zee5 to be able to watch the movie, but if you do not wish to spend money, there is a way to watch it for free.
