Apple has been working on its self-driving car project since years, according to reports and has been facing a rather tough time partnering with a car manufacturer. After Hyundai and Kia, the company was recently said to be in talks with a Canadian car maker - Magna.

To be specific, Apple is said to join Magna and LG’s joint automotive venture - LG Magna e-Powertrain. The contract requires both LG and Magna to work on the initial rounds of Apple Car production, as reported by The Korean Times. Also mentioned is that the partnership of LG and Magna is itself expected to complete later this year and with Apple as one of their main clients.
