BSNL extends its ‘Work@Home’ plan again till July 26

BSNL has been extending its ‘Work@Home’ plan for months now after launching it in March. The state-run telco has extended its work from home broadband plan again and this time till July 26.

BSNL Chennai announced the extension of the Work@Home plan for all circles. It’s a promotional plan for broadband users at no extra cost. Under this broadband plan users 5GB data per day with up to 10 Mbps speed. Post the 5GB data cap, internet speeds will reduce to 1 Mbps. There’s also a free email ID package with 1GB storage in this plan. As for voice calling charges, these will be as per the subscriber’s active landline plan.

BSNL has extended two more broadband plans priced at ₹299 and ₹491 which launched last December. These promotional broadband plans are available again and till September 25. BSNL’s ₹299 broadband plan comes with 50GB of data with up to 20 Mbps speed. Like the Work@Home plan, this one too reduces speed to 1 Mbps once the data is capped. This broadband plan also offers unlimited calling to any network in India.

The ₹491 BSNL broadband plan also has the same offers except that it comes with 120GB data. Both broadband plans will be active for six months for BSNL subscribers. Once this period is over, the ₹299 plan will be migrated to the 2GB CUL plan priced at ₹399. And those on the ₹491 plan will be moved to the 3GB CUL plan priced at ₹499.
