You know the India wearbles market is hot when the world's best-known wearables brand decides it's time it stepped in.
Fitbit, the San Francisco-based maker of fitness bands such as the Fitbit Flex, Charge, Charge HR and Surge is finally launching in India next month, reports technology website BGR.in.
Fitbit will reportedly bring it's entire portfolio to the country. It's products will be priced from ₹ 3,990 for the entry-level Fitbit Zip all the way to ₹ 19,990 for the high-end Surge, which not only tracks steps, calories and sleep but also provides continuous heart-rate monitoring and GPS to track running and walking workouts.
India's wearables market has seen a surge over the last couple of years with homegrown brands like GOQii. Recently, Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi also launched its Mi Band in the country for ₹ 999.
