Huawei Watch GT smartwatch, Band 3 Pro and Band 3e launched in India: Price, specifications, features

Huawei India on Tuesday launched its latest smartwatch, Huawei Watch GT. The latest smartwatch is available online via Amazon India and Huawei's official website. Huawei also introduced two more wearables, Huawei Band 3 Pro and Huawei Band 3e.

Price and availability

Huawei Watch GT will be available via Amazon India starting March 19. The smartwatch will go on sale for ₹16,990 for Classic Edition and ₹15,990 for Sports Edition. Early customers will get Huawei Sports BT AM61 Earphones worth ₹2,999 free with the smartwatch.

HUAWEI Band 3 Pro will go on sale on Amazon.in starting March 26 for ₹4, 699. The band will be available in Obsydian Black and Space Blue variants.

HUAWEI Band 3e sale starts on March 19 on Amazon. The bracelet is priced at ₹1,699 and will be available in Pink & Black colours.

Huawei Watch GT: Specifications, features

Huawei Watch GT looks very similar to Samsung Gear smartwatches that retain the look of the traditional wrist watches. Huawei's latest smartwatch measures 46.5 mm x 46.5 mm x 10.6 mm while the wrist coverage is between 14cm and 21cm. The device weighs around 46 grams.

Huawei Watch GT features a 1.39 inch AMOLED colour screen which supports slide and touch gestures. The display resolution is 454 x 454 pixels with 326ppi pixel density. The device comes with 16MB of RAM and 128MB of ROM. For connectivity, Huawei Watch GT supports GPS and Bluetooth 4.2 LE among others.

Huawei's new smartwatch also comes with a range of sensors including magnetometer, optical heart rate sensor, ambient light, accelerometer, gyroscope and barometer sensor. Huawei Watch GT is compatible with smartphones running Android 4.4 and above. It's also compatible with iPhones running iOS 9.0 and above.

Huawei Band 3 Pro

Huawei Band 3 Pro comes with heart rate sensor and sleep tracking feature. The smart band features 0.95-inch HD AMOLED color touch screen.

"With HUAWEI TruSeen3.0, HUAWEI Band 3 Pro accurately monitors the heart rate of a user throughout the day. Huawei also pioneered the use of IR (infrared) sensors to accurately track the user heart rate without using the obtrusive lights of conventional trackers," said the company in a release.

Huawei Band 3e

Huawei Band 3e is a sports bracelet wearable. It comes with a new Footwear Mode which is said to provide precise running data. It also has 50m water-resistance

"The Huawei Band 3e will provide treadmill running data at a 97% accuracy using a built-in 6-Axis Gyroscope based sensor in Footwear Mode. The performance data that is captured can help you enhance your daily performance," claims Huawei.
