Reliance Jio offers Disney+ Hotstar subscription with ₹222 plan: Report

Reliance Jio earlier this month introduced a VIP subscription of Disney+ Hotstar worth ₹399 with select recharge plans and data vouchers. Now word is that the company has introduced a new voucher that offers the VIP subscription of Disney+ Hotstar to the subscribers.

The new ₹222 voucher apart from offering VIP subscription of Disney+ Hotstar offers 15GB of unlimited data to the subscribers that is valid until the base plan expires. This means that it will work in tandem with a data plan.

Simply said, Jio users who have subscribed to a data plan that doesn’t offer Disney+ Hotstar subscription can recharge using the ₹222 plan to get the subscription to the VIP plan along with 15GB additional data.

It is worth noting that this plan was first reported by users on DesiDime forum by users who have started receiving this. It is not listed on Jio’s website yet.

Reliance Jio offers a VIP subscription of Disney+ Hotstar with a total of six plans. The ₹401 and ₹2,599 plans offer 90GB and 740GB of data respectively and come with a validity of 28 days and 365 days respectively. On the other hand, add on vouchers worth ₹1,208, ₹1,206, and ₹1004 offer 240GB, 240GB, and 210GB data and come with a validity of 240 days, 180 days and 120 days respectively. The ₹612 add-on voucher offers 72GB data with 6,000 Jio to non-Jio minutes and comes with a validity that is the same as your existing plan.
