Lenovo Z5 debuted in China today. And it's exactly not what the company had been teasing on the social media. Lenovo had put up a few sketches and partial image of the phone, suggesting it will have an all-screen front, better than the likes of Xiaomi Mi Mix 2.
Turns out, Lenovo Z5 does have an edge-to-edge screen, but like any other recent smartphone it has a notch on the top. Sure, it has a high screen-to-body ratio. Lenovo says it's at 90% which is among the highest. But, the phone does come with a thick chin at the bottom.
Also, it's not a rival to OnePlus 6 or other premium phones. Instead, Lenovo Z5 is a mid-range phone with mid-range specifications with a few exceptions.
Lenovo Z5 comes with a 6.2-inch 19:9 full HD display. Lenovo Z5 is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor. On the back, it has 16-megapixel dual-cameras. On the front, it has an 8-megapixel camera.
Lenovo Z5 is available in two variants - 6GB RAM and 64GB storage and 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The two variants are priced 1,299 yuan ( ₹13,600 approximately) and 1,799 yuan ( ₹18,800 approximately).
