LG launches super convertible 5-in-1 AC in India, price starts at ₹36,990

LG, on Monday, launched its new line of Dual Cool inverter air conditioners in India. The company’s 2021 line of air conditioners will be available in two categories. While the split ACs will be available in a price range of ₹39,990 and ₹73,990, the window AC will be available in a price range of ₹36,990 and ₹54,990.

Coming to the specific details, LG’s new range of Super Convertible 5-in-1 ACs include a total of 54 models. They come with features such as UV nano sterilization, HD filter with anti-virus protection, dedicated air purification systems and WI-FI that enables the device to be operated with voice commands.

The company’s 2021 lineup includes three AC models with Hot and Cold features under its new range. These three models, LG says are a better alternative to oil heaters as they deliver clean and pure air along with reduced energy consumption. Additionally, the company’s new lineup also includes four models of Eco Super Convertible ACs that offer air purification by PM 1.0 sensor and display, ion diffuser and filtration system consisting of micro dust filters and anti-allergic filters.

LG’s 2021 AC lineup is powered by its ThinQ technology -- a standard in its phones -- which allows users to control and monitor ACs at any time and from anywhere with an app on the phone. LG ThinQ offers compatibility with Smart App, Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI Speakers and apps. This works with both, the company’s split and window inverter ACs. Apart from control, users can also get filter cleaning notification and control multiple home appliances via LG’s Smart ThinQ.

In addition to these, LG’s new range of ACs come with special ocean black protection, which the company says provides exceptional durability for the ACs in typical Indian regions affected from sand, salt, industrial smoke and pollutants. These new ACs come with a 10-year warranty and a 5-year PCB warranty (applicable on Split and window ACs).
