Mahindra XUV900 Electric Coupe SUV unveiling set for THIS date, but not in India

Indian auto major is all set to unveil the new Mahindra Coupe Electric SUV model! For some time now, Mahindra has been aiming to expand its portfolio of electric vehicles. Mahindra is among the first mainstream Indian automotive manufacturer to step into the EV space with its electric car manufacturing company Reva. Now, with the newfound expertise in EVs, Mahindra has set a roadmap for its EV portfolio in India as well as for the global market. Mahindra is well on its way to launch 7 electric vehicles under the 'Born Electric' range of SUVs. And one of these is the Mahindra XUV900 Coupe Electric SUV which has been teased to launch in the upcoming months. Here’s what we know so far about the Mahindra XUV900 Coupe electric SUV.

Mahindra's Chief Design Officer, Pratap Bose, has released a new teaser for the company's future electric SUV. Mahindra's Born Electric SUV range will be revealed in August, and this model will be part of it. Three new electric cars will be unveiled at Mahindra's new design centre in Oxfordshire, United Kingdom. In fact, these concepts were created by a new design studio situated in the United Kingdom.

The forthcoming SUV is expected to be the XUV900 Coupe, which has been rumoured for quite some time, a report by Rushlane suggested. On the 15th of August, Mahindra will debut their new electric SUV range in the United Kingdom. Well, there is no news about the launch in other markets but Mahindra is also set to reveal another electric version of XUV300 in the Indian market soon.

Mahindra XUV900 Coupe electric SUV

The teaser of the Mahindra XUV900 Coupe electric SUV shows razor-sharp body panels, star-shaped wheels, a three-door design, a rectangular-shaped steering wheel, a landscape-oriented digital instrument console, adjustable headrests, bucket seats, and more. The concept also features black body cladding on the sides, significant squarish wheel arches, massive air vents, and a roof-mounted spoiler, among other features. In previous leaks, the instrument panel and infotainment system were shown on two screens. In the centre console, there is a rotary dial. More details are still awaited for the next Mahindra electric SUV.
