If you are looking for a Fiber broadband plan, then BSNL has good news for you! Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), which is a government-owned telecom company, has introduced an entry-level broadband plan for users that offers 30 Mbps download speed priced at ₹399. The BSNL broadband plan is only available for 90 days for a limited period. In July, BSNL had launched the same plan for a promotional time period of 3 months.
The new BSNL fibre broadband plan offers 30 Mbps speed up to the usage of 1000 GB, after that your downloading speed will be reduced to 2 Mbps. BSNL mentioned that after the 'Fiber Experience 399' plan expires, users will automatically be switched to the Fibre Basic broadband plan worth ₹499. Additionally, the BSNL offer provides unlimited voice calls to any network without additional charges. Also, users can get unlimited 2% Reward Points while paying for the plan with Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit card. According to Telecom Talk , the ₹399 plan will be available in limited regions - Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Telangana, and Kerala
BSNL Fibre Basic plan of ₹449 also offers 30 Mbps downloading speed up to 3.3TB data usage. Similar to the ₹399 plan, once you reach the Fair Usage Policy (FUP) limit, the speed will be reduced to 2 Mbps. If you are opting for this plan, you will also get unlimited voice calling to any network within India.
Besides BSNL’s entry-level fiber broadband plan and Basic Fiber plan, telecom have few other broadband plans also. Bharat Fibre Superstar Premium 1 plan, which is priced at ₹749, offers 100 Mbps downloading speed up to 100 GB data usage which is then reduced to 5 Mbps.
Another plan, the BSNL Bharat Fibre Superstar Premium 2, offers 150 Mbps internet speed up to the data usage of 200 GB which is then slashed to 10 Mbps at ₹949. Both the plans offer free OTT subscriptions of SonyLIV Premium, VooT Select, YuppTV Live. These plans are available in all states of India except Andaman and Nicobar.
Other telecom companies such as Airtel and Jio also have entry-level broadband plans. The ₹399 JioFiber broadband plan provides unlimited internet at a speed of 30Mbps, albeit it does not include any OTT subscriptions but does include unlimited voice calls. Airtel XStream broadband plan is priced at ₹499, which includes unlimited internet speed up to 40 Mbps, as well as the subscription of Airtel XStream, Wynk Music and more. Then there is another, lesser known company, Excitel, which gives unlimited data with 100 Mbps, 200 Mbps and 300 Mbps speed at ₹699, ₹849 and ₹999.
