Ola app now shows estimated delivery for Ola Electric scooters, more

If you have booked an electric scooter from Ola Electric, there’s good news. The Ola app is now showing an estimated delivery date for those who have booked the new Ola electric scooter. Customers booking the Ola scooter can now see an estimated delivery date within the Ola app. The scooter can be purchased from the Ola app only.

If you have booked the Ola S1 or S1 Pro scooters, you can head over to the booking details and find the estimated delivery date of your electric scooter listed. Ola has maintained that it will do the first deliveries in October. The next sale of these electric scooters will happen November 1 via the Ola app only.

Ola app shows estimated delivery time

The feature was first spotted by a customer on Twitter. ““Finally @OlaElectric has updated estimated delivery date in @OlaApp, now eagerly waiting for experience the revolution... thank you @bhash sir.”

The company announced back in July that its first generation electric scooters had received 100,000 reservations within a day. This is considered a record in the world of scooters. Ola Electric launched these scooters on August 15 in two variants, S1 and S1 Pro.

The Ola Electric S1 starts at ₹99,999, and the S1 Pro starts at ₹1,29,999. However, the prices go down in states with active subsidy grants. In Delhi, the S1 would cost ₹85,099, whereas in Gujarat it would cost ₹79,999. At the time of launch, the company maintained the first come first delivery basis.

The Ola S1 has a top speed of 90 kmph and can go up to a distance of 121 Km on a full charge. The Ola S1 Pro will go farther with a range of 181 Km and will have a top speed of 115 Kmph. Both the models will be available with 8.5Kw powertrain. Ola Electric will establish a Hypercharger network across the country to aid quicker charging while on the move.

Ola Electric also announced that the scooter will be manufactured at the Ola Futurefactory, which will only have a female workforce of 10,000 personnel.
