Realme GT, Realme Book Slim launch date and time: Realme will be hosting a virtual event today. At the event, it will announce the Realme GT 5G, Realme GT Master Edition, and Realme Book Slim. While the former two will be Realme’s latest 5G phones, the latter is going to mark its entry in the laptop segment. While the vanilla Realme GT is powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC, the Master Edition gets the Snapdragon 778G chipset.

The Realme GT 5G, Realme GT Master Edition, and the Realme Book Slim will launch in India at a virtual event today, August 18, 2021. The launch event will begin at 12:30 pm. As far as how to watch is concerned, then know that the event will be livestreamed through the Realme India channels on YouTube and Facebook.

Realme GT, Realme GT Master Edition expected price

To recall, the Realme GT is said to be priced between ₹30,000 and ₹35,000. It was launched in China at a starting price of CNY 2,799 (approx. ₹32,100) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The same configuration was introduced in Europe at EUR 449 (approx ₹39,200).

On the other hand, the Realme GT Master Edition carries a starting price of CNY 2,399 (approx. R. 27,500) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration. It also comes in a 256GB storage model that is priced at CNY 2,599 (approx. ₹29,800). However, the India pricing of the Realme GT Master Edition hasn't been revealed yet.

The Master Edition of Realme GT comes with a 6.43-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. It sports a triple rear camera setup of 64MP + 8MP + 2MP, and a 32MP shooter lies on the front. It packs a 4,300mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging.

The Realme GT, on the other hand, features a 6.43-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. It has the same camera setup but a 16MP selfie shooter. The smartphone packs a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.

The Realme Book Slim is confirmed to come equipped with a 3:2 display with a 100 per cent sRGB colour gamut. It will have a Thunderbolt 4 port, 16GB of RAM and 512GB of onboard storage. It could also include DTS Audio Further, the laptop may deliver up to 11 hours of battery life on a single charge.
