Sapphire Foods IPO share allotment status: Sapphire Foods, which runs several popular food chains like KFC, Pizza Hut, and Taco Bell in many countries including India, Sri Lanka and Maldives, has closed its initial public offer (IPO) on November 11 after securing a good response from investors. The three-day long Sapphire Foods IPO, which opened on November 9 was closed yesterday with 6.62 times subscription on the final day of bidding till 5pm. While it ended on a positive note, Sapphire Foods IPO subscription was lower than the performances by other initial public offerings recently. According to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) data, the INR 2,073 crore IPO received bids for 6,39,45,000 shares against 96,63,468 shares on offer.

On the last day of the initial share-sale, retail investors booking was 8.7 times the portion allotted to them, followed by qualified institutional buyers at 7.5 times and non-institutional investors' quota was subscribed 3.46 times.
