Southern Railway invites application for Railway Southern Region Apprentice 2022 online

Southern Railway, has invited applications for various trade apprentices on its regional website www.sr.indianrailways.gov.in. A total of 1261 vacancies are announced for various posts- Carriage Work, Perambur, Central Workshop, Golden Rock, and Signal & Telecommunication Workshop / Podanur. The interested and eligible candidates can complete the registration process to apply for the vacancies on or before October 31, 2022. Southern Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2022

Age Limit: Applicants must have completed 15 years and must not exceed 22-24 years as per the posts. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided to the reserved category as per government rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the class 10 exam or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks. They must possess an ITI certificate issued by any NCVT recognised Industrial Training Institute in relevant trade.

Southern Railways Apprentice Recruitment 2022: Selection process

The successful applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of the marks secured by them in Class 10. The selected candidates will be further called for document verification and Medical test. The merit list will be published on the official website.

Indian Railways Apprentice Recruitment 2021: Stipend

The selected aspirants will also get a stipend as instructed by the Railway Board.
