This 20,000mAh power bank uses same Graphene batteries found in Tesla cars

Tesla, the firm better known for its electric vehicles, often touts about the efficient batteries they make. But these are not just used in cars. The firm has used its battery tech on its own powerbank as well that is priced at $45. However, there’s another company that is using Tesla-designed batteries in its powerbank, which in fact is better than Tesla’s own offering. Called Chargeasap Flash 2.0, the powerbank is priced at $299 but offers way more then what you would expect. 

As mentioned by The Next Web, the company says that this accessory uses batteries that are made using the same material found in batteries inside Tesla cars. The ASAP company CEO Vinson Leow added that Chargeasap Flash 2.0 uses Graphene battery cells made by Panasonic – same used in the electric vehicle maker’s automobiles. Using this tech, it is possible to input or output more power from the product. It also lets you fast charge devices and the power bank as well.

It is also because of the Graphene battery tech that Chargeasap Flash 2.0 can go for 2,000 charge cycles as compared to 500 charge cycles in an average power bank. So, implementing such tech and fast charging standards is why the accessory costs high.

As for the specs, Chargeasap Flash 2.0 has a 20,000mAh capacity and four ports in total including two USB-C ports and two USB-A ports. These come along side dual coil wireless charging that lets you charge supported Apple Watch or other devices at 10-watt max. One of the Type-C ports offers 60-watt out while the other one delivers 100-watt in or out. Both also support USB-PD standard. Furthermore, the USB-A ports support Qualcomm QuickCharge 3.0 with 18-watt out. One of these ports can deliver up to 40-watt power to Oppo and OnePlus devices, and 22.5-watt standard from Vivo and Huawei phones.
