Twitter down is trending as users across the globe take to social media to complain about the service outage. This time too, the service is down across the globe. Not just Twitter app, users have indicated that there are issues even with the Twitter website. The message Twitter users are getting says, “Something went wrong. Try reloading.” However, that has not worked for most people and the microblogging site and app remain down. As many as 85% of the complaints were about the website not working, 9% said they were facing a 'Server Connection' issue and 6% said they were facing problems on the Twitter App.
Downdetector, which tracks outages by collating status reports from a number of sources, including user-submitted errors on its platform, is showing a rising graph of complaints regarding Twitter outage. However, Twitter India looks to be working for most users.
There is no reaction available yet from Twitter as yet- not on @Twitter or even on @TwitterSupport.

Twitter had faced a glitch last Friday too. In its statement, Twitter said that it had fixed a software glitch in its that had disrupted services for several thousands of its users. "We've fixed a technical bug that was preventing timelines from loading and Tweets from posting. Things should be back to normal now," the had company said in a tweet.
Last Friday's glitch on Twitter was worse than this one as Downdetector showed that it had received over 40,000 user reports of outage.
