Twitter makes it easier for users to see all their quote tweets in one place

Twitter is making it easier for users to see quote tweets. You can now check who retweeted your tweet with a comment, all in one place. This update is available to all Twitter users on mobile and desktop.

Twitter has added a ‘Quote Tweets’ tab along with retweets and likes that appear at the bottom of a tweet. If your tweet has been retweeted with comments then the quote tweets option will appear. You can tap on this and you’ll see all the quoted tweets. With this update, retweets will only show the retweets and not ones with comments.

This makes it easier for users to check and know who retweeted their tweet and who actually retweeted with a comment. Quote tweets include those with text, photos, GIFs and even videos. Do note that if your tweet has been quoted then quote tweets will not appear at all. This doesn’t mean that you haven’t received the feature.

Twitter first rolled this out for iPhone users earlier in May. The feature worked differently though. Twitter placed the quote tweets under the retweets section itself. So when a user tapped on retweets they would see just retweets on one side and quote tweets on the other. The new feature basically adds a different section altogether for quote tweets.

Twitter had also announced it would crack down on ‘copypasta’ tweets to reduce spam on its platform. As the name suggests, copypasta tweets are those that have been copied and pasted from the original tweet. Twitter will start hiding these copypasta tweets as it’s witnessing an increase lately.
