WhatsApp groups experience is getting even more diverse with this latest upgrade! Recently, the instant messaging app added a feature to let users share files and media up to 2GB in size for the WhatsApp beta version of Android phones, iPhone, and Desktop too. And now, WhatsApp is all set to roll out the new upgrade that will let you create and join an even larger group from today onwards. How many people can be invited? A massive 512 participants! Yes, now all the WhatsApp users will be able to create and join their own groups with this massive number of participants.

Earlier, the WhatsApp update tracking website WaBetaInfo shared the news that the ability to add up to 512 people to groups is available on WhatsApp beta for Android, iPhones, and Desktop versions. But sadly, the feature was only released to a limited number of beta testers. However, now, things are going to change on WhatsApp for all! "Note that this is not limited to the beta version of the app: people that install the most recent stable builds of WhatsApp for Android, iOS, and Desktop, can also create and join larger groups today," the blog mentioned. WabetaInfo has also shared glimpses of the new ability while sharing a screenshot which confirms that it is finally possible to create groups with 512 participants. You can even add the new members once the group is created by opening the group info.

How to know if a larger group ability is available on your WhatsApp or not?

The ability to add 512 participants to your WhatsApp Group is already there on your account from today onwards. Still, if you want to verify if the feature is already enabled for your WhatsApp account or not, then simply try to create a group and check how many people you can add to it. If it still doesn't allow you to add up to 512 participants, then you should update your WhatsApp account while heading to Google Play Store or Apple's App Store for iPhones.
