WhatsApp tips and tricks: Sometimes we need to send a message to multiple people. However, sending the message once and then forwarding it to more than five people isn’t allowed. So you will have to forward it to five people and then to five more and go on till you have sent it to the number of people you wanted. However, there is an easier way to do this. You can send a WhatsApp message to multiple people at once without creating a group! You can pick the WhatsApp Broadcast lists option to send a message where you can select multiple users and shoot it off to them at once. The best part is that none of the other WhatsApp broadcast members will know to whom else you sent that message. WhatsApp Broadcast lists are saved lists of message recipients that you can repeatedly send broadcast messages to without having to select them each time.

How to create WhatsApp broadcast lists

1. Go to WhatsApp

2. Tap on the top right ‘more options’ button. It is the one with three dots aligned vertically.

3. Select New Broadcast.

4. Search for or select the contacts you want to add.

5. Tap the check mark.

Done! Your broadcast list is created. Now you can send your message to multiple users at once without creating a group.

When you send a message to the broadcast list, it’ll be sent to all recipients in the list who have your number saved in their phones’ address book. Recipients will receive the message as a normal message. Moreover, when they reply, their reply will not be sent to other recipients in the broadcast list.

How to edit WhatsApp broadcast lists

1. Open your broadcast list on WhatsApp.

2. Tap the more options button at the top right corner.

3. Go to Broadcast list info.

4. In the broadcast list info screen you can:

a. Change the name of your broadcast list by tapping Edit.

b. Add recipients to the list by tapping Add recipient...

c. Remove recipients by tapping Edit recipients > "x" next to the contacts you want to remove > check mark.

How to delete WhatsApp broadcast lists

1. Tap and hold the broadcast list you want to delete.

2. Tap Delete broadcast list > DELETE. You can choose whether to delete media or not.

Alternatively, open the WhatsApp broadcast list you want to delete, then tap the name or recipients > Delete broadcast list > DELETE.
