WhatsApp to get an AMAZING feature soon! Pin as many as 5 chats on top

WhatsApp is working on a new update that will let you pin your top 5 favourite chats at the top for quick access. WhatsApp pinned chats feature was introduced several years ago for Android, iOS, and Desktop and it helps users to keep the most important conversations accessible. It also helps as a reminder of important tasks. However, the limit to add chats at the top is limited to 3. After a lot of requests from users, WhatsApp is planning to increase the maximum limit to pin chats to 5.

The shared screenshot of this upcoming feature by WhatsApp’s update tracker, WabetaInfo, suggests that the new feature will allow users to pin up to 5 chats to the top. “With the number of chats increasing daily, having the option to pin more chats can help users stay more organized and focused. In addition, as more and more users are using larger screens, we believe it makes sense to support a higher limit of pinned chats to better meet their needs,” the report mentioned.

However, it must be noted that WabetaInfo has referred to this as a concept, which means there’s a possibility that it may or may not be added to WhatsApp in future updates.

Meanwhile, on a similar note, WabetaInfo shared another expected concept that will enable users to pin messages within a particular chat. It will remain at the top of the chat for easy reference. This will especially be beneficial in case of huge group chats, which will enable users to pin some important messages. It can also be beneficial when there are a large number of messages and they don’t have time to read through all of them.
