WhatsApp update: Now select different skin tone combinations for couple emojis!

WhatsApp never misses a chance to make the app more interesting and engaging for its users. Maybe this is the reason why the app is so used widely all over the world to chat and communicate. As per the latest information, WhatsApp is rolling out a new feature which will now allow users to select different skin tone combinations while picking couple emojis. However, it needs to be noted that the roll out is on WhatsApp beta for Android devices. WhatsApp has been frequently adding new features for Android devices in recent times.

The information was provided by WABetaInfo over its Twitter handle when it tweeted, "WhatsApp is rolling out skin tone combinations on WhatsApp beta for Android! WhatsApp is now enabling a new feature to select different skin tone combinations while picking couple emojis." Also, it further said in a statement, "While we’re waiting for a new bug fix update for WhatsApp beta for Android through the Google Play Store, that should address the crash on Android 12 (but it’s already available as web release), WhatsApp is now releasing a new feature about emojis."

People love sending and sharing emojis while they chat on WhatsApp as it not only helps in conveying the emotions in a better way, but is also easy to share. "Finally, WhatsApp is now releasing the possibility to create different skin tone combinations for couple emojis," WABetaInfo said.

It also informed that the feature has been previously spotted in the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.21.22.8 changelog, but it was under development. It can be noted that WhatsApp has rolled out this option to select beta testers on December 1, 2021.

WhatsApp users will now be able to select different skin combinations while picking couple emojis. The feature is available to select beta testers and more activations are planned very soon.

In another tweet WABetaInfo also informed that WhatsApp introduced the Sticker Store to beta testers on December 2, 2021. "WhatsApp Desktop beta 2.2147.9: what’s new? WhatsApp is introducing the Sticker Store to beta testers today!," it tweeted.

WhatsApp is rolling out a new update for the desktop client through the official beta channel, bringing the version up to 2.2147.9. "WhatsApp is now releasing a new feature to explore the Sticker Store directly from the web/desktop client!," it said.

Users can now open the new Sticker Store by simply tapping the plus icon in the sticker tray. The Sticker Store contains the same sticker packs you see on your device, but it works differently: you cannot download the sticker pack, but you can pick a specific sticker from a sticker pack to send on the chat.
