WhatsApp is gearing to make some major changes to WhatsApp Web. The company is working on improving dark theme and doodle feature in WhatsApp.
WhatsApp, earlier this year, introduced a new Theme button in WhatsApp Web that enables users to manually enable dark mode in the company’s web-based platform. Now, WhatsApp is working on adding a new feature to its theme settings that will automatically change the theme of WhatsApp Web to the system settings. For understanding, if you have enabled dark theme on your personal computer and you and picked System Default, WhatsApp Web will turn dark for you automatically.
To access this feature follow these steps: open WhatsApp Web > tap on the hamburger menu on top > then go Settings > go to Theme > select System default.
Apart from bringing improvements to the WhatsApp Web, the Facebook-owned social messaging app is also working on improving its doodles feature. The company as per a report by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is testing a feature that will enable users to add doodles in chat solid wallpaper. The blog site, however, cautions that this feature is still in the developmental phase and it will available in the messaging platform in future.
