Chinese electronics company Xiaomi has unveiled a new Redmi 3S smartphone in China, with starting price of CNY 699 (approximately ₹ 7,000).
The global availability of the smartphone is not announced by the company yet.
The 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage model is priced at CNY 899 (approximately ₹ 9,000).
The smartphone features a five-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display and runs MIUI 7 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The smartphone also sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF (phase detection autofocus) and a five-megapixel front camera with 1080p video recording capability.
The device would come in grey, silver, and gold colour variants.
