You can get 11GB of free data from Airtel: Here’s how

Airtel customers can get upto 11GB of free data with a bunch of offers put together. The telecom operator is offering 5GB of free datnew Airtel 4G customers and that can be availed by downloading the ‘Airtel Thanks app.

If you have just bought a new sim or upgraded to a new 4G device, all you need to do is to get on the Airtel Thanks appth you new number and get the free data. However, this offer is only for prepaid customers and new customers.

This 5GB that Airtel is offering comes in the form of five 1GB coupons that will be credited to your account in 72 hours, as per a report by TelecomTalk. Also, to be able to avail this 5GB of free data, you need to register your number on the Airtel Thanks app within 30 days of your number being activated. Once you have done the needful you will find the coupons under the “My Coupons” section on the app.

Every 1GB coupon can be redeemed within 90 days from the day of credit, once they are activated, the free data will remain active for three calendar days.

On the other hand, if you are a 4G Airtel user and have not downloaded the Airtel Thanks app yet, you can avail 2GB of free data, if not this 5GB offer.

So where does the remaining 6GB of data come from for that free 11GB?

Airtel has 6GB free data on offer on its site. However, to get this 6GB data, subscribers will have to recharge with an unlimited recharge pack.

You get 6GB of free data with 84 days validity if you buy the ₹598 Airtel prepaid plan or any other prepaid plan that is higher. Like it is with the 5GB plan, Airtel is going to credit this 6GB free data in the form of six 1GB coupons.

If you recharge for ₹399 or a higher plan, you can get 4GB of free data with 56 days’ validity in the form of four 1GB coupons.

Airtel will credit two 1GB free coupons if you buy a plan that costs ₹219 or higher - this is valid for 28 days.
