2. Slow internet connection: Search “Internet speed test” on Google to check your internet connection. Slow or unstable internet connection is one of the main causes of slow uploads.

3. Heavy upload traffic: You might be uploading during a busy time. At some peak hours, your internet service provider may register a spike in traffic and might take longer to upload your video to YouTube.

4. Quality: Higher quality videos take longer to upload. For instance, a 4K video will take longer to upload than a 1080p video.

If you are experiencing any of these issues, then it is better that you let your video finish uploading to YouTube. If you had to quit your upload for any reason, you have up to 24 hours to continue uploading where you left off.
