Mi Notebook teaser reveals FHD display, Core i7 chipset

Xiaomi will launch its first laptop in India on June 11. It has now teased some features of the Mi Notebook ahead of its launch.

Xiaomi earlier this week revealed the launch date for its first laptop in India. Xiaomi has now shared a teaser video for the Mi Notebook on Twitter.

More precisely, Xiaomi India head Manu Kumar Jain shared the video which highlights the laptop's display. The video shows very slim bezels on the Mi Notebook with something called “Horizon Display”. There's a dedicated page for the laptop as well on Xiaomi's website. It is confirmed that the Mi Notebook will have a full HD display and come with Intel's Core i7 processor.

The laptop's full design is yet to be revealed by Xiaomi. It hasn't confirmed either if the Mi Notebook will be an entirely new laptop or a rebranded version of one of Xiaomi's laptops. Details are still quite scarce on Xiaomi's upcoming laptop. The launch event is scheduled to take place on June 11 and it will start at 11:00 pm. Xiaomi had previously said that the laptop it offers will be slim and light-weight.

The Mi Notebook is also rumoured to be a rebranded version of the RedmiBook 13. This laptop launched in China last December. It comes with an i7 processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 512GB SSD storage. The RedmiBook 13 also comes with dual 2W speakers with DTS Audio support. It comes packed with a 40Whr battery, Bluetooth 5.0 and a 3.5mm headphone jack as well.
