Xiaomi gives more information on RedmiBook laptop series with 11th-gen Intel processor

Xiaomi seems all set to launch its new laptop under the ‘RedmiBook' series. The company has confirmed that it will introduce the new RedmiBook Pro, which will also be the company's top end laptop, in China, on February 25. This will launch alongside the much anticipated Redmi K40 series. In the teaser images on Weibo, the firm has already said that the new laptop will feature 11th generation Intel Core i7 H35 series Special Edition processor and MX450 GPU.

It will also come with a 2K display, which is a step up from the Full-HD screens that came in earlier RedmiBook Pro models. The post on Weibo also confirms that the upcoming RedmiBook Pro will boast of NVMe solid state drive, HDMI port, USB type-C port and will support PD fast charging.

laptop to buy?

All this comes in addition to fingerprint unlocking, backlit keyboard and a metal chassis. It has also been mentioned that the device will feature a built in webcam. It's worth mentioning that when the company launched its RedmiBook 14 Pro, it did not come with an built in webcam.

We may also see Xiaomi launching its RedmiBook 15S models at the event. Based on recent Geekbench listings, the laptop is set to feature AMD Ryzen 5 5600H CPUs and Ryzen 7 5800 H CPUs with AMD Radeon graphics.

Based on a previous Geekbench report, The base model will come with AMD's Ryzen 5 5600H chip paired with 8GB and 16GB of RAM. This one has a single-core score of 1322 and multi-core score of 5793 on Geekbench. RedmiBook Pro 15S has also been listed with the Ryzen 7 5800H chip which has 16GB of RAM, and with 1311 and 5787 scores.

Whatever might be the case, we will know all the details in the couple of weeks.
