Apple releases iOS 14.1 update for iPhones with multiple bug fixes
Apple's latest software update, iOS 14.1 for iPhones has tons of bug fixes. The software update is now available to download and install.
Apple has released a new software update for iPhones. iOS 14.1 comes with bug fixes for a ton of issues on iPhones. The new update is available to download for compatible iPhones.
iOS 14.1 is the first major update after iOS 14 that was released last month. Apple has already started testing iOS 14.2, and its developer betas have also been released. iOS 14.1 can be downloaded on compatible iPhones starting from the iPhone 6s. If you haven't been notified about the update you can manually check by going to Settings > General > Software Update.
There are quite a lot of issues that have been fixed with the latest update. Apple has also added support for 10-bit HDR video playback and edit in the Photos app for iPhone 8 and later. Other than this, iOS 14.1 contains mostly bug fixes. Here's the release note of iOS 14.1 with all the bug fixes.

Addresses an issue where some widgets, folders, and icons were showing up in reduced size on the Home Screen

- Resolves an issue where streaming video resolution could temporarily be reduced at the start of playback
- Fixes an issue that prevented setting up a family member's Apple Watch for some users
- Resolves an issue where the Apple Watch case material was displayed incorrectly in the Apple Watch app
- Addresses an issue in the Files app that could cause some MDM-managed cloud service providers to incorrectly display content as unavailable
- Improves compatibility with Ubiquiti wireless access points
Along with iOS 14.1, Apple has also released iPadOS 14.1. The new software updates come with support for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro, and the new iPad Air which will go on sale later this Friday.
