Asus ROG Phone 5 audio review goes live ahead of launch, shows secondary rear screen
DxOMark audio test review page also mentions the device to sport Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, symmetrical dual front-facing speakers, 3.5mm headphone jack with ESS DAC and Dirac tuning technology including frequency response correction, and virtual bass technology.
Asus has not yet revealed the ROG Phone 5 officially but DxO benchmarking website seems to have done an audio review ahead of its official launch. The review, which is live on the website, shows the gaming smartphone in full glory, giving us the clearest look yet. From the looks of it, the device will this time sport a secondary screen at the back that will probably show you notifications and few touch buttons to control music playback. In addition, there seems to be the AniME Matrix tech at the back below the secondary screen. This is something we have seen in recent ROG gaming laptops by the firm.
Besides mentioning that the phone will officially launch on March 10, the DxOMark audio test review page also mentions the device to sport Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, symmetrical dual front-facing speakers, 3.5mm headphone jack with ESS DAC and Dirac tuning technology including frequency response correction, and virtual bass technology. Also visible are three rear cameras and the overall design at the back being in line with the previous ROG Phone models.

For now, Asus has only confirmed the name of the gaming phone and March 10 as the global launch date. We are still not sure about the screen, RAM, storage, camera and battery specs. The company has not yet started teasing the phone for India launch too.
Based on previous rumours and leaks, the ROG Phone 5 is expected to pack a 6,000mAh battery and support 65W fast charging tech. It is also said to house three rear sensors with a 64-megapixel primary sensor. One can also expect a 144Hz FHD+ Super AMOLED screen.
