Realme GT Neo 2 price still not revealed, but launch date announced

Realme has not revealed Realme GT Neo 2 price yet, but has said that the smartphone will be available in Neo Green colour in India.

Realme is all set to host a special event on October 13 at 12:30PM during which the company will be launching two devices. First is the Realme 4K Smart Google TV Stick and the second is the Realme GT Neo 2 smartphone. Microsite for both these devices is live in India. This microsite reveals a lot of details about the upcoming devices, especially the Realme GT Neo 2 smartphone. Now, just a day ahead of its official launch, Realme has revealed the Realme GT Neo 2 smartphone will be available in Neo Green colour in India.

The Neo Green colour variant of the Realme GT Neo 2 features a vertically-mounted triple rear camera setup that stands parallel to a thick Black strip that has Realme inscribed on it in a vertical fashion. Realme says that the Neo Green variant of the Realme GT Neo 2 has been designed by the Realme Design Studio that is managed by designers Paco and Sire. Realme says that the Realme GT Neo 2 uses a 7 nano-multilayers process to increase the overall colour saturation by 50% compared to the normal process. The Realme GT Neo 2 features a glass back with AG effect texture that makes it scratch-resistant and resistant to accidental slips.

“The inspiration of NEO Blue comes from the sunrise on the beach, and this colour is presented vividly by the metallic coating. Similarly, the inspiration of NEO Black comes from the mysterious universe. Both options adopt the 7 Nano-multilayers Process to provide you with a comfortable in-hand feel and a beautiful appearance,” Realme wrote in a post.

As far as features are concerned, Realme has already revealed that the Realme GT Neo 2 will come with a 120Hz AMOLED display with 1300 nits of peak brightness. It has also confirmed that the upcoming Realme GT Neo 2 smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 870 processor with Vapour Cooling Plus technology that will prevent the phone from overheating. On the camera front, Realme has also said that its upcoming Realme GT Neo 2 smartphone will feature a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 64MP primary camera and that it will sport a 5,000mAh battery with 65W SuperDart Charge technology.

Notably, while Realme has revealed a lot of details about its upcoming smartphone, the company hasn't revealed details pertaining to the phone's front and rear cameras, display size and resolution, or its storage. In addition to that, the pricing of the Realme GT Neo 2 remains a mystery as well. We will know all these details and more when the phone launches at 12:30PM tomorrow.
